Karya helps bring digital classroom experience to rural populace. Adding digital infrastructure to the rural schools to bring in digital experience and its value in terms of outreach and latest study materials to the students at the grassroot levels.
Karya addresses the basic infrastructural needs in rural education sector by partnering with OSAAT, which is a volunteer-run non-profit organization rebuilding the infrastructure of rural schools in India. Through targeted investments and strategic partnerships, OSAAT has successfully rebuilt more than 50 schools in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh. OSAAT’s mission is to enable children in rural India to thrive, supporting both their physical and emotional health to foster intellectual growth and break the cycle of illiteracy and poverty.

Sponsor a child initiative is about supporting the monthly/yearly expenses of a child in the underprivileged areas to sustain their education, meals, and shelter needs on a monthly/yearly basis. the donations can be for overall support or for specific support as well. Karya has tie-ups with local groups having ground level network which helps identify beneficiaries and ensure that the help reaches the recepients on time every time to sustain their holistic growth.
Karya foundation has been actively involved in raising funds for sponsoring and donating books for education of the underprivileged and the girl child in rural areas. This is achieved by donating study materials and book sets for an entire grade for the whole class and year. The impact is that more students can afford education without the burden of obtaining books. This helps keep young students in school and help them graduate, directly impacting to reduce the school drop-out rates.
“Student Connect” is an initiative by EQUIPPP Foundation aimed to foster cross-sector collaborations between student communities and development catalysts like CSR Agencies, Nonprofits and Local Governments.
